Houston Primary School

At Houston Primary School in Renfrewshire we travelled round Europe with each class learning about the culture and language of a different country. We studied famous landmarks from that country and recreated them using art / technology skills.

Primary 1 learned about the Dutch language and culture of The Netherlands, and made some beautiful Delft plates.

Primary 4 learned about some of the iconic buildings in London and created their own rainy day in London pictures.

Primary 6 made fabulous interpretations of St Basil's Cathedral in Moscow. They used repeating patterns to create the brickwork on the towers and bright colours to reflect the colourful domes.
